Dang this weekend came quick! Extra excited for this weekend’s plans because they’re my favorite of all: dog-sitting and doing dog-friendly things in LA. It’s our ticket to going to this one dog park that usually has swarms of dogs, where I’ve missed going there and playing with all of them and pretending like I’m a dog-owner who belongs there. It’s kind of a dream. One of these days we’ll get our own fur baby!! Read More
One Day in Chicago
Chicago is one of my favorite places being that I spent the first 18 years of my life here. It’s also where O grew up, where we met, and where some of our family and friends still live, so it’s guaranteed we make at least a yearly trip back. The majority of our plans usually involve hanging out with family in the suburbs, but we also make sure to reserve one day for going to the city (yup, like Ferris Bueller’s day off with maybe more of a design-minded itinerary, ha.) May Favorites
A few of my favorite things during the month of May:
Copenhagen Travel Guide
Copenhagen got on to my travel list once I started seeing that a lot of my favorite design brands reside here. You know this because most of the home decor and interiors I share on this blog is either from or inspired by Danish design! It only took two seconds of Googling to see that I also had to come for the architecture- this is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever visited. Further research revealed other very cool things, like how it’s rated the happiest city in the world, it’s the world’s greenest city, and it has the highest density of Michelin Star restaurants than any other city in the world. Those are some major worldly accolades and in short, you have to visit Copenhagen.
Our Save the Dates with Artifact Uprising
I’ve had two misty-eyed moments so far during our wedding planning. The first was when I found my wedding dress, and it was largely because one of my friends who was there with me started tearing up (aww) but yes I love my dress and it was the first time this whole thing felt very real! The second time was when I received our save the dates. Totally unexpected to get emotional, but made sense because it was another very real reminder that this wedding is actually happening, and the excitement keeps growing. Read More
Friday Finds
SO good to be home after being out this week for a wedding in Chicago and a meeting in New York. I’m totally satiated on travel and ready to not travel anywhere for a while- didn’t think I’d ever say that! Craving schedule, regular sleep, and lots and lots of green juice. Read More
